Good news to all music-lovers who appreciate piano and Ragtime music! I’ve have remarked these last years, a growing number of websites proposing for free download many instrumental scores published between 1850 and 1930, most of them now in the public domain.

But, after spending many many hours visiting these sites (they are so many that they can not be referenced here) I’ve frequently had the disappointment of not finding a particular rare ragtime gem I was looking for; this frustration finally led me to do an important work of transcription, mainly from old piano rolls featuring piano rags that have been never published, and to propose it to all who love Ragtime.

Of course, this page is first dedicated to pianists. As a pianist myself, I tend to collect and create an important private sheet music collection and also I have the idea of sharing on this page in the near future, interesting public domain “musique française de salon pour piano” that have been published in France between 1850 and 1920.

To conclude, I really hope that you’ll find this page amazing and useful and, if you are a pianist, that my very little contribution will help you to grow your appreciation of Ragtime music.
